This book was written in 2001 book written by J.K. Rowlings about the magical creatures who appear in the world of Harry Potter. It purports to be Harry Potter’s copy of the book of the same name mentioned in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. It contains the history of Magizoology and describes 75 magical species from around the world. Rowlings name does not appear on the cover and the work is credited to Newt Scamander. Over 80% of the money raised from the sale of each book goes to Comic Relief which distributes the money to poor children in various countries around the world.
This blog contains reviews and comments on children's books which I own, have read, and would like to share. I look for books at markets and opportunity shops. They are cleaned up, covered and read. Then I take them to the classroom for students to read. Students can borrow the books at any time. Many books are also from my personal library, especially the Youth Fiction. Students can preview some of them on this blog. Now, I am also on the lookout for great new releases for my grandson Archie.

Fantastic beasts and where to find them is just what the title says: Fantastic! I recommend it to any Harry Potter fans. You can learn about all the different creatures in Harry potter. It is one in a series of partner books which also includes Quidditch through the ages and the tales of Beedle the Bard.

I really love this book. The part I love the most though, are those funny little notes that Ron and Harry have left. I especially like the notes on the Acromantula (giant spiders!), that Ron put about ten 'X's next to. The 'X's symbolise ow dangerous. Such as, the Flobber Worm. One X. but dragons, have five.It is a great read, and I am glad the funds go to a good cause.
